Match 3 - Woodford Wells Away

Ok then another strange evening.

Firstly - On the way up there Dave revealed the first signs of the onset of alzheimers by telling Adrian and I the same story twice in about the space of 10 minutes!

Secondly - Dave revealed the first signs of the onset of alzheimers by telling Adrian and I the same story twice in about the space of 10 minutes!

Thirdly - Who'd have thought that when we got promoted to Division 2 that we'd be reporting that Chris & Paul won at Nos.1 & 2 but the team still lost!

Fourthly - But it's not all bad in Division 2 - despite not winning a match yet we do get desserts with our meals again now. Very nice Vienetta and Cheesecake last night!

And Finally - Who'd have thought that a traffic cop would get lost in London and lead us down a dead end to a tube station?!

All strange but true folks!

Results:

Chris beat Dave McKenna 10-8 9-4 9-2
Paul beat Paul Chapman 1-9 10-8 9-3 9-6
Adrian lost to Phil Martin 5-9 4-9 9-5 8-10

Match 2 - Next Generation Away

(We're all a bit pushed for time, so will probably have short blog reports this season)

I'm afraid we are now played 2, lost 2.

Here's a (very) brief synopsis of how it went from our resident unfit and slow, still getting over xmas and boarding number 1 Chris:

We lost 4-1.

Dan and Colin could have won.

Dave beat Kenny and Adrian lost to Colin. I lost 3-0 to Luke. I am unfit and slow at moment. I still need to get over xmas and boarding.

And here are the results without exact game scores as they don't record them!

Chris lost to Luke 0-3
Adrian lost to Colin 1-3
Dan lost to Rob 1-3
Colin lost to Terry 2-3
Dave beat Kenny 3-2

Clements lost to Next Generation 1-4 (7-19)
